Do people still get healed?

One of the key tenets of the pentecostal branch of the Christian faith, is a sure belief that God's miracles are just as relevant and available for us now as they were during the lives of the first apostles. Here is a short testimony from a member of our church who was healed recently through the ministry of Pastor Theo Wolmarans:

This is the third time that I hear of the same "miracle" the other two were in Texas and Florida All "preformed by Theo Wolmarans this sounds like a routine spaced out by time and distance, if anyone has more info on theo wolmarans or his church, please e-mail cowtree7@aol.com

I'm not sure what your problem is - if many people are healed of a similar problem in multiple places then so what?

In terms of whether this is a "routine", consider that when a Christian finds someone being healed through their prayer, their own faith is likely to be greater for the same type of healing the next time they pray than for some unrelated problem.

Personally I know of people who say they have been miraculously healed from all sorts of problems. Many of them are dear and close friends. Should I doubt them? Have they been 'brainwashed'?

Well, I don't doubt them, and their brains are no cleaner than anyone else's at church.

People doubted Jesus' ability to heal. Some asked whether he was from the Devil, because of the power he had over evil spirits.

If you want more information about Ps Theo Wolmarans then check out his bio on the church website.
